Welcome to the Third Annual Urbana, Ohio Antique Bottle and Jar Show
Saturday, August 18, 2012
Last year:
· A special thanks to all the dealers and collectors who participated in the 2011 Urbana Bottle Show. We had over 70 sales tables and nearly 170 through the door for our first standalone effort at this venue. In 2012, with the addition of the Vintage Book, Paper and Advertising Show in the adjacent building, we can only look forward to a bigger and better show!
· All proceeds from this show go to the Champaign County Fair Board and admissions go to a Junior 4-H group. Last year’s admissions went to the Junior 4-H Sheep Council.
Dealer Info:
· Inside tables are provided and are 8’ in length. Cost is 25.00 per table for the first two tables and 15.00 for each additional table. You must provide your own table covers.
· Outside spaces (30’ frontage) are available for 25.00 per space. Outside vendors must provide their own tables and table covers.
· Inside dealer set up is at 8am with the public entering at 9:30.
· For the benefit of our dealers, there is NO EARLY ADMISSION.
· All items must be clearly marked with the asking price. Irradiated bottles, reproductions, fake labels, repaired, artificially colored or coated bottles must also be so marked.
· Bottle related tabletop antiques and advertising items are encouraged.
· For security reasons, dealer name tags must be worn during dealer setup to be sure that dealers only are in the room.
· Cancellations with full refund can be made through August 4th. Cancellations made after that date will be refunded based on our ability to fill the reservation from our waiting list and late registrants.
· Loading and unloading can be made through the large doors in the front, sides and rear.
· A cafeteria with food served by a local organization will be in the same building. Katie will have her baked goods again! (Cinnamon and pecan rolls, YUM!)
Motels in Urbana:
· For those who enjoy the B&B experience, I highly recommend The Simon Kenton Inn and Publik House (937.399.9950) and The Murray House (937.390.3949), both located between Springfield and Urbana. Check out their web sites.
